Wow! The way you write is as beautiful as the monuments you speak of. I went through a phase of denying anything tied to the church. I have since realized that multiple things can in fact be true at once. This was amazing, thank you! Xx

What an amazing essay! Being able to hold paradoxes and seemingly conflicting ideologies without needing to resolve the conflict is such a superpower. Beautifully written.

I absolutely love this, from your mother land to your father land, a dancing paradox. Beautiful!

In a man's world, as the infamous song goes, without a woman it would mean nothing. We realize how that the difference is not just procreation and the other song that was once sung at a time of patriotic demand as females were encouraged to please the male using pots and pans, whatever you can do, I can do better, but the fact we all possess the dual energies and some more feminine and some more masculine.

I love how you wrote this expression of evolution in humankind with this wisdom and acceptance. Humbled, yet empowered.

Your always getting my mind to contemplate. Thank you for sharing a smidgen of your experience in Italy. 🇮🇹
